S3fa Gets Vulnerable, Weeps as She Reflects on Dealing With Fame

Ghanaian singer and reality TV show host, Sefadzi Abena Amesu, better known by her stage name S3fa, has shed light on her silent emotional battles as a celebrity.

The singer, a cast member of the all-new season of the GH Queens reality TV show, said there are times when she goes home crying after performing on stage.
S3fa's vulnerable moment was captured as part of the second episode of the third season.
She shared her ordeal after the reality TV show's cast, which includes Efia Odo and Coco Trey, embarked on a soul-searching therapy.

"It's really sad when you find yourself in a space where too many people have their eyes on you. You can't fully express yourself. You're being drained so much, but you expected to give and give. People don't realise, you're human too."
According to the E Choke hit-maker, there are times when she forces herself to perform and entertain fans despite being in an emotionally bad spot.
"They expect you to just be happy. There have been so many times when I'm not myself and I don't feel like singing. But I'll go on stage to dance for people, only to come home and be crying to my mum."
S3fa questions her faith on QH Queens
S3fa is one of Ghana's biggest female music stars with several hits, including E Choke and Fever, which features Sarkodie.
Despite her astronomical rise in the music industry, the singer, who cut ties with her label Black Avenue Music last year, has had to deal with endless comments about her body and fashion choices.

During the GH Queen episode, S3fa poured out her raw emotions, questioning God why her struggles linger despite pushing the right buttons.
"If there's a God and I'm praying to God to help me, I'm doing the necessary things needed to be done for things to work out. Why is it not working out? Sometimes you don't have anybody to talk to and everyone expects you to be some type of way," S3fa said.
"It's not easy. What you guys usually see on TV is like 40 per cent," the singer added.

S3fa defends Cina Soul against Big Akwes
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that S3fa rallied behind Cina Soul when Big Akwes launched a scathing tirade against her music colleague.
On Max TV, the Ghanaian actor the musician, who had just released her album Did I Lie, with unprintable and demeaning comments.
S3fa called out the TV station that aired the segment as she criticised the trend of female artistes being too harshly judged in the media.
