Kofi Owusu Aduonum, the husband of Afua Asantewaa of singathon fame, recently made headlines after the media personality called him out concerning their alleged separation.

On Thursday, April 1 2026, Afua Asantewaa caught the attention of observers after she hinted at marital troubles with her husband, amid rampant speculation.
In a TikTok live session with Prophet Fire Oja, she announced that she and her husband were separated after her relocation to Canada and not divorced.
The former GWR participant also stated that she was healing from an unspecified setback she was facing in her marriage.
"I am not divorced. We are separated for a good cause, and I am gradually healing. It is not a big deal."
Following the report, Rashad, the founder of popular Ghanaian media platform GhPage, is believed to have contacted Afua Asantewaa’s husband to respond to his wife’s claims.
The media personality alleged that they spoke off the record and shared details of his conversation with Kofi Owusu Aduonum.
Rashad said Afua Asantewaa’s husband denied any claims of being divorced or separated and asked the public to dismiss any reports to the contrary.
