In a Facebook post that she later deleted, Princess Awuni said the issues started after the couple travelled to Canada for a vacation.
The lady claimed that Owusu Aduonum said he did not want to return to Ghana after the vacation despite pleas from Afua Asantewaa.
Having paid for the holiday herself, the media personality later returned to their homeland to bring the children back to Canada with her.
"Upon her return, it took her trying to apply for permanent residency for you all and the kids to find out you went to seek asylum as a single man."
The friend said most people would not be able to endure half of what Afua has gone through in her marriage, but people blame her because she is the loud one.
