Grief has struck the family of veteran Ghanaian musician Richard Oguns, known widely as Ogunskele and one half of the 2Toff music group, following the death of his elder brother, Frank Oguns.

Frank, popularly known to many as Ajoejoe Onero, passed away at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after a short illness.
The news broke on Saturday, 22 August 2026, when Ogunskele took to his TikTok page to share the painful announcement with his followers and the wider Ghanaian music community.
In his post, the US-based musician described Frank as his beloved elder brother and called on friends, family, and sympathisers to rally around the Oguns family during a period of deep sorrow.

One-week observation set for Frank Oguns
Alongside breaking the news, veteran Ghanaian musician Ogunskele also announced the details of a one-week observation to honour his late brother's memory.
The gathering is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026, and will be held at Night Market, Kotobabi, on Oguns Street.
The 2Toff music group member's family extended a warm invitation to all who wish to offer their presence, prayers, and support as they begin to grieve.
