A Ghanaian prophet has caused a stir after he reacted to the passing of popular TikToker Osanju on September 1, 2025.

In an interview with Poku1 TV on YouTube, Prophet Tabiri claimed he foresaw that the chronic illness troubling Osanju had a spiritual dimension.

He added that one factor that worked against Osanju was his religious belief, which led him to refuse spiritual help from other quarters.

Prophet Tabiri then controversially claimed that the TikToker would be reborn from a member of the same family, who would give birth.

Agya K, the biological father of Osanju, was left devastated after he spoke publicly for the first time about the death of the famous content creator.

Looking distraught, the elderly man disclosed that if his son were called by his mother to join her in the afterlife, then he was ready to accept it.

Agya K, however, added that if anyone had masterminded or spiritually worked against his son’s success, the spirit would retaliate against them.

Before this, a relative of Osanju said that the father was taken to their village to help him deal with losing his wife and son in the space of months.

Details on late TikToker Osanju’s passing

Ghanaians were thrown into mourning on Monday, September 1, 2025, after it was confirmed that Osanju had died.

The 30-year-old, who had over 1.1 million followers on TikTok, passed away at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after falling ill on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

At the time of writing the report, the TikTok video detailing Prophet Tabiri's remarks on Osanju had generated over 2,000 likes and 20 comments.

Reactions to Tabiri's prohecy about Osanju's reincarnation

Ghanaians who took to the comments of the post expressed pain that the content creator was no more. Others also reacted to the prophecy issued by Prophet Tabiri.

Sis Lynn stated:

“Please, with all due respect, why didn’t you call him and help with prayers since you already knew it was a spiritual sickness?”

Nharnhar Ansah reacted:

“Eiiii yaanom, were you there when they were buying the sickness for him?”

MAN LYK SKYFACE wrote:

“Heerr, when he was alive, you didn’t even support him, but now that he is gone you’re speaking up.”

Kofi Asamoah opined:

“You knew all this but you did not tell him when he was alive. See what you’re saying now.”

Osanju's sister and uncle mourn after his demise

Earlier, YEN.com.gh also reported that Osanju's sister and uncle could not control their emotions following the passing of their beloved relative.

An emotional video, which went viral, captured the relatives of the late social media personality in tears at the residence as they mourned.
