He therefore appealed to those spreading falsehoods surrounding the circumstances of his daughter's death to be very careful, as the issue should not be taken lightly.

In an earlier interview, Pascaline's father disclosed that his daughter signed an exeat from her school to return home on the grounds of being sick, only for it to turn out that she did not head home.

He said he later got wind of his daughter's whereabouts, leading him to cause the arrest of everyone at the location on suspicion of abduction.

When quizzed by an interviewer about the cause of his daughter's passing, Pascaline's father said initial details from the doctors showed she had contracted a serious form of malaria.

Reactions to Pascaline's demise

Ghanaians who took to the comment section of the video have shared varied opinions:

Fame stated:

"All the ladies criticizing the man, perhaps their parents have left them to live their ashawo lifestyle, so they wanted the man to be like their parents. You made the right decision; it just didn’t go the way you wanted it. Enjoy your life with the rest of your kids."

Kobbyshay wrote:

"From my experience, when parents are too strict on their kids, trust me, their kids always do bad things in disguise."

OB opined:

"As every responsible father does, looking for a better life for their children, I can see this man wanted the same for his daughter. So guys, stop blaming and insulting him for unnecessary reasons. What’s wrong with a father trying his best to secure a better life for his children?"
