Apostle Safo's children and other family members, led by Adwoa Safo, were present. They walked up to the newly sworn-in leader to congratulate him and express their support.
Afterwards, other members of the church congratulated their new leader.
Owusu Badu has worked as the General Secretary of the Kristo Asafo Mission in Ghana before. In his LinkedIn bio, the lawyer indicated that he also worked as the Managing Director of the Mission.
This implies that the Ghanaian legal practitioner has some experience in leading the church, and he had also worked closely with the founder while he was alive.
