According to her mother, Serious Madam never had any formal training, as she discovered her passion for hairstyling all on her own. She surprised both her mother and neighbours by effortlessly braiding hair after school.

During the interview with the BBC, her mother, who owns a salon, shared how her young daughter had always been able to balance her academics with her growing reputation as a young hairstyling prodigy.

The mother was grateful as she noted that ever since Lordina gained recognition in the media, she had been receiving a lot of customers.

"They see her on social media and decide to come to us, and when they come, they allow her to braid their hair. She can braid different rasta hairstyles, and she can also do the washing."

Lordina's mother also disclosed that her daughter discovered her passion for braiding two months after she started visiting her shop.

From intricate braids to flawless styles, this young talent has proven beyond doubt that passion knows no age.
