A Nigerian mother has been trending on the TikTok app after posting a video of her Velcro baby.

She shared the video via her official TikTok account,, which quickly went viral, garnering many comments.

In the video shared by @hordunyola, the woman showcases her dance moves while carrying her Velcro baby, who never wants to be put down.

According to the mother, she gave birth to twins, but one of them chose to be a velcro (clingy) baby.

"POV: One of your twins decided to be a Velcro baby," she captioned the video.

YEN.com.gh contacted a midwife in Uyo, Angela Maduabuchi, who shed more light on Velcro babies.

In her words:

"They are too attached to their mothers. We usually have a hard time with Velcro babies most times because their mothers might be down with illness and wouldn't want to be disturbed but this infants won't stop crying even when you give them everything they need."
