It has been revealed that Tottenham defender Serge Aurier missed his team's Premier League defeat against Manchester United because he was arrested for having a bust up with his girlfriend.
The Ivory Coast football star was detained for several hours the night before Spurs' Premier League defeat to Manchester United before being released without charge.
According to the report by UK Sun, police were called to Serge Aurier's home in Hertfordshire following an alleged domestic violence with lover Hencha Voigt.
They were said to have had a row over an issue which made the player to be arrested on the suspicion of causing body injury to the 31-year-old woman.

The report added that the 26-year-old Tottenham star denied causing actual bodily harm to Voigt and was released afterwards.
He suffered the consequence of being arrested by the police as he missed a crucial Premier League game against Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are currently occupying third position on the Premier League standings with 48 points after 22 games played this season.
