Lionel Messi did not score but produce one of the best assists of the season for Ansu Fati's first goal during a pleasant 2-1 victory over La Liga rivals Levante over the weekend.
The Argentine recreated his magical touches, passing the baton of greatness to the Guinea-Bissau-born prodigy in an encounter that helped reduce Real Madrid's gap on the table to three points after 22 round of fixtures.
Barcelona came head high into the game but narrowly beat visitors Levante all thanks to Ansu Fati who hit the back of the net twice.
The teenage sensation fired the hosts in front with a superb finish on the half-hour mark after connecting with Lionel Messi's precise pass.
Frenkie de Jong took the ball to Argentine who then took a few touches before sweeping the ball to Fati's direction. The young forward fired past Levante keeper as Camp Nou erupted in jubilation
The Argentine grabbed his eighth assist of the season, but the fans were thunder-struck and quick to notice the assist, with some hailing the Barcelona talisman for his phenomenal touch.

Messi also grabbed the second assist of the game as he swiped the ball to the 17-year-old starlet in the 31st minute.
Meanwhile, Ansu Fati has been tipped to heir the Argentine hitman following his impressive adaptation to life at Camp Nou, and it seems the time has now beckoned.
Messi also enjoyed the same privilege Fati is enjoying under his leadership with Brazilian legend Ronaldinho.
The Argentine played his entire club career with the Catalans since joining them as a teenager, with his first goal coming against Albacete in 2004/05 campaign all thanks to the Selecao legend who passed the touches of brilliance to him.
