Nkrumah played a key role in Ghana’s triumph at the 2023 African Games in Accra, where the Ghana U20 national team secured gold under the guidance of current Black Stars assistant coach Desmond Offei.
He later featured in domestic competitions as part of preparations for qualification for the 2024 U20 Africa Cup of Nations, although he narrowly missed out on selection for the final tournament in Egypt.
Despite that setback, his progress continued to attract attention, earning him his first senior national team call-up during the Kirin Cup in November 2025, as reported by Ghanasoccernet.
As reported by Ghanafa.org, Nkrumah’s latest most outstanding performance saw him produce a stunning extra-time performance, netting a sensational hat-trick to lead Medeama SC to a hard-fought 3-0 win over Attram De Visser FC in the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup on Sunday evening at the Cape Coast Stadium.
