Bawumia mourns his special aide Kwabena one year after his passing

On November 24, 2016, the special aide to New Patriotic Party (NPP) then vice-presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, died.

Kwabena Boadu was found dead in his hotel room in Wa in the Upper West Region.

A year down the lane, Bawumia, who is now vice president has remembered his special aide on his Facebook page.

I miss Kwabena every single day. He was an unassuming, caring and brilliant young man who became my rock. I keep asking God “why?".

Dr Bawumia also in his post said the absence of Kwabena in his life will never make things the same.

I will never be the same again.The pain never goes away. The void is too large to fill,” he said.

Kwabena Boadu was so instrumental to so many things Dr Bawumia did from 2011 when they were together.

May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.
