- A Ghanaian movie actor, Bernard Aduse-Poku, claims Wizkid is more popular in the US, compared to Sarkodie and Shatta Wale
- According to him, most DJ's and presenters on radios in America play more of the Nigerian music
- He explained that is because the Nigerian music artistes are better at marketing their music
A Ghanaian actor, Bernard Aduse-Poku, has disclosed that Nigerian music artiste, Wizkid ranks higher in the United States above Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.

One hardly hears of Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Samini, Daddy Lumba, M.anifest and others, he claimed.
In that respect, Aduse-Poku believes that some Ghanaian music artistes are merely popular within the borders of the country, but are not known to American DJs and presenters.
Speaking on Ultimate Showbiz hosted by Austine Woode, the actor stated that the only Ghanaian song he has ever heard since his five-year stay in America is ‘Adonai’ by Sarkodie and Castro.
The reason for this development, he believed, is because Nigerian acts are serious about the marketing of aspect of their music but Ghanaian music lacks international publicity.
