Fufu pounding machine spotted at ongoing Ghana International Trade Fair

Ghanaians who were present at the 22nd Ghana International Trade Fair and Exhibition in Accra were left in awe after being introduced to a fufu pounding machine.
The Fair which has already seen over 600 different good and services being exhibited was officially opened on February 28.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘Industrializing Ghana, Creating Jobs’ and t’is geared towards providing a platform for potential investors and businesses.
One of the exhibitions that caught the eyes of many Ghanaians was the newly-made fufu pounding machine which has the ability to pound just anything.
The pestle is fixed to a bolt on the machine and it moves automatically up and down to pound the mortar without the need for any man power.
The fufu pounding machine does not also require petrol or any form of fuel to operate. Rather, it uses electricity and looks like a faster way of preparing fufu.

Celebrity blogger Ameyaw Debrah posted a short video of how the fufu pounding machine operates on his Facebook page and most Ghanaians could just not believe what they were seeing.
Whiles some commended the innovators of the machine, others also suggested it would be more expensive considering the amount of electricity it would consume in order to operate.
