'Obinim sticker' underpants could make my team win – Jon Benjamin

The Former British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, who never misses out on any good social media banter about Ghana, has joined in the famous ‘Obinim Sticker’ challenge.

The former diplomat who was at the Emirates Stadium over the weekend to watch a game between Arsenal and West Ham United tweeted that even though he was uncertain about the outcome of the match, he was hopeful the match will be in his favour since he had the 'Obinim sticker underpants'.

Jon Benjamin in his tweet said, “I've arrived at the Emirates Stadium and will be holding my nose for the next few hours before returning to a more acceptable part of London. I don't have a very good feeling about this game. But I am wearing my lucky #Obinim Sticker underpants.”

The #ObinimSticker challenge started after some members of the International Godsway Church testified that the sticker from their leader, Bishop Daniel Obinim possess supernatural powers that solve almost every problem they face.

However, a number of Ghanaians on social media heavily trolled the self-styled Bishop after some members of his Church stunned Ghanaians, when they were captured on camera giving strange testimonies on the ‘miracle sticker’ at Church.
