Comedian Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has hit hard at the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), saying the majority of the party’s members are stupid.

According to him, 90 out of every 100 stupid people in the country are members of the NPP.

He said the party has proven since winning power that they are intolerant of divergent political views.

A Plus’ comments were a reaction to a Facebook post by one Oheneba Clement, who described the musician as a “political prostitute.”

However, A Plus gave a strong reply, insisting no one in the ruling party can intimidate him.

He said he will always be a critic of bad governance, pointing to the fact that he criticised the NDC while they were in government and will continue to do so to the ruling NPP.
