Taxi driver who allegedly killed WASS student arrested by the police

YEN.com.gh understands that the taxi driver who allegedly knocked down a student of the West African Senior High School on the Madina-Adentan highway, has been arrested by the police.

The suspect has been placed in police custody and investigations into the matter has commenced.

His arrest has sparked various comments on social media from a cross-section of Ghanaians:

The victim, reportedly died on Thursday, November 8, 2018, as she tried to cross the road near the 'uncompleted' footbridge.

This has led to a protest by the youth in the area as they are burning tyres on the main road to block cars from accessing the route.
