NPP Subin Constituency comms secretary rubbishes NDC elections chances

A New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications secretary in the Subin Constituency, Daniel Yaw Geraldo, has taken a swipe at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a party that has nothing to offer Ghanaians.

Geraldo was sharing his opinions in the aftermath of the NDC's congress that saw the election of a new executive that would run the party's agenda for the next four years.

Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, a former national organiser was elected the party's chairman.

But the NPP constituency communication secretary dismissed the conclusions of the congress because "Mahama will still lead them and not win power again".

According to Geraldo, the NDC was going to lose in 2020 because the party failed hardworking citizens of Ghana under Mahama, whom he described as an "empty incompetent man".

The NPP scribe said he would not be surprised if a Mahama-led NDC ended up with a dwindling vote percentage 2020.

The party made about 44% in the election of 2016 while Nana Akufo-Addo's NPP came away with about 53% of the vote.

This translated into close to 1 million votes.

Geraldo went on to ask for the unflinching support for the policies rolled out by Nana Addo and his team, mentioning among them, the Free SHS policy and NABCO.

He entreated Ghanaians to embrace the "hardworking team" of Nana Addo and commit themselves to the socio-economic development of Ghana.
