'Beef' over as Sarkodie pops up at Manifest's show

Manifestivities 2018 will go down in the history Ghanaian music because two rival rappers Sarkodie and Manifest squashed their differences and got together.

Prior to Sarkodie's performance which comes as a surprise to many, Manifest and Sarkodie are known by Ghanaian music lovers as rivals who hardly cross each other's path.

But history was made yesterday when Sarkodie made a surprise appearance on stage at the Bukom Arena where Manifest together with artists on bill; Efya, Simi, Burna Boy, Kwesi Arthur, B4Bonah and co were performing.

The cheers and shouts at the arena just when Sarkodie climbed the stage depicted that indeed Ghanaian music lovers prefer to have 'beefing' artist show love to each other instead.

Manifest on the other hand welcomed Sarkodie with wild smile, hand shake and began jumping when Sarkodie started performing.

The surprise performance by Sarkodie yesterday at Manifestivities 2018 really got tongues wagging because no one expected it even though Sarkodie and Manifest few days ago on the streets of Accra were seen shaking hands for the first time after their 'beef'.

Sarkodie and Manifest are two top Ghanaian rappers who have a lot of fanbase in Ghana and abroad. Somewhere last year, they threw shades at each other in songs with both claiming to be the best.

Before that lyrical brawl, Sarkodie and Manifest had recorded about two songs together even though they were not close friends but for the sake of being in the same industry.

On twitter, Hitz FM posted the video Sarkodie's surprise performance and Manifest retweeted it. Fans of both artists are indeed thrilled by the reunion and had this to say in reply to the video.

@TrigaKwesi praised the two and tweeted: Matured minds

@princekojofosu got emotional and tweeted: "I felt the goosebumps"

@Bbryte99 applauded and tweeted: "I love it when rappers squash their beef and move on to perform on one stage... Drake and meek, drake and Chris, now sark and mani"

@owu6u also tweeted: "Wow! This is the best moment ever for me. So marvellous! Feud's ended and all the sneak disses gone end too, lovely. Saw this coming."

Deducing from the response by Ghanaian music lovers on the various social media platforms, it is evidfent that everyone is enthused about Sarkodie and Manifest squashing their 'beef' at last.

Other Ghanaian and Nigerian music stars thrilled fans at the Bukom Arena.
