As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Kwadwo Wiafe, the drivetime host of Neat FM, passed away on the morning of Thursday, June 4, 2020.

Information gathered by YEN.com.gh has indicated that passed on at Nyaho Medical Centre in Accra after a short illness.

While Kwadwo Wiafe was very popular on radio and social media and a lot has already been said about him, there is still much to be discovered about the lively character we just lost.

YEN.com.gh has put together some facts about Kwadwo Wiafe as we have gathered since his passing.

1. Full name and nickname:

The late Neat FM presenter was officially known as Kwabena Wiafe Annor but close friends preferred to call him by his nickname Tickles.

2. Age:

Kwabena Wiafe was born in 1986 and would have been 34 years old later in the year, exactly on December 15.

3. Parents:

Not much is known about his father but Kwabena Wiafe's mother is a popular wedding MC known as MC Ronny.

4. Education:

Kwadwo Wiafe completed his Radiantway School and headed to Pope John's Secondary School (POJOSS) in Koforidua where he completed in 2006.

From POJOSS he attended the Central University College which he completed with a Bachelors degree in 2011.

5. Work at Despite:

Kwadwo Wiafe originally started work at Despite Media as a marketing executive and was said to be very efficient at his job.

As somebody who had always wanted to be in the media, Kwadwo Wiafe ventured into radio when Despite Media expanded and opened Neat FM. He has been hosting the station's drivetime show, Ye Ko Fie.

6. Work as MC:

With his very good oratory skills, it is no surprise that Kwadwo Wiafe was also good at emceeing events.

He was actually very popular for emceeing weddings and other events for which he was called Favourite MC's MC.

He was the MC for the much-famous wedding between Osei Kwame Despite's son, Kennedy Osei, and his wife Tracy, in February 2020.

7. Acting career:

Kwadwo Wiafe was not only good on radio and at emceeing but he also could act. He has had stints as an actor featuring in Salinko's Boys Abre and Kofas Media's Pa2Pa Tv series which show on UTV.

8. Wife:

Kwadwo Wiafe was married to Reeka Wemah. The two married in 2013. According to Wiafe, he dated his wife for five years, four while they were on campus and one during national service, before they eventually got married.

9. Children:

Wiafe and Wemah were blessed with three adorable children. They are two beautiful girls as the first and second with on little boy following them.

10. Hometown:

From what YEN.com.gh has gathered, Kwadwo Wiafe hailed from the Akyem Oda area in the Eastern region.

Meanwhile, - Fadda Dickson, the MD of Despite Media, has spoken after the company lost, Kwadwo Wiafe.

Earlier, Kennedy Osei, the General Manager of Despite Media, had broken down in tears over the passing of the Neat FM presenter.

Following the news, Kennedy has also taken to his official Instagram handle to mourn the death of his employee.
