A young man by the name Samuel Kofi Mills, is making waves as a make-up artist in Accra. Mills has found himself in an occupation that is usually thought of as feminine yet he his acing the art and business of make-up.
Mills is an 18-year-old who lives with his grandparents at Adabraka, a suburb of Accra. He lost his mother at a tender age.
The young man completed Senior High School education at Abetifi SHS some three years ago. As the only child of a deceased woman, Mills has not looked back since.
He has set up a small shop that he calls 'Glam Afrik'. Most young entrepreneurs set up small mobile shops like the same one Mills has now.
According to our source, makeup is Mills' talent but he did not realise it until one day when he went to a party with friends and he saw a lady with makeup.
Thenceforth, Mills said he wanted to be a makeup artist. That was when he realised his passion for the job.
He is looking to be enrolled in one of Ghana's universities in September.
Mills wants to get better at make-up artistry. With that, he hopes to spread his tentacles and become a more recognised artist beyond Accra.
