Yaw Dabo sacks all players in his football team

Diminutive Kumawood actor, Yaw Dabo, has revealed that his colts football club is currently struggling which has forced him to sack all his players.

According to the comic actor, he took the decision because of the financial challenge he had to face as the owner of the football team based in Kumasi.

In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Zionfelix.net, he said because of the unforeseen financial challenge, he had to let all the players leave despite managing them for about three years.

Dabo further explained that managing any football team, no matter how small it is, involves a lot of capital injection.

This he says, is because, with youth football unlike professional football, the owner and financier is usually expected to provide the basic needs of all the players, something he could not do because of his financial challenge.

Dabo bemoaned this challenge and was quick to add that the team may soon bounce back strongly.

He also revealed that he was confident the team will stand on its feet again because a friend in South Africa has promised to help him with some capital injection.

He further stressed that once, the money arrives, all his former players will return to play for him.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh had previously reported a story about Dabo putting the matter of rumors surrounding his age to bed after he confirmed his real age in an interview.

Speaking in an interview on the Delay Show, Dabo, in answering the question concerning his age appeared shocked when Delay mentioned it to him.

According to Delay, Dabo was reported to be 19 years of age even though there had been a thousand and one speculations on the subject.
