Jerome Boateng reveals deep love for Ghana (Video)

Jerome Boateng has professed his love for Ghana despite opting for to play football for Germany.

The Bayern Munich defender has released a heartfelt video on his Instagram page showing his deep love for the West African country.

In the video, Jerome who was in Ghana two months ago, visited the deprived communities in Ghana.

He interacted with the young kids promising to return to Ghana again.

Jerome’s caption of the video read, “Really loved visiting the program of @righttoplaydeutschland in Ghana and feeling the passion of the kids, I will be back home - this is the country where my roots lie."

The video have drawn attention from his followers across the world.

Jerome was born to a German mother named Martina Boateng and a Ghanaian father in Berlin.

He is the younger, paternal half-brother of fellow professional footballer Kevin-Prince Boateng.

He was part of Germany squad that took the world by storm after winning the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
