Edinaman SHS involved in accident after National Science and Maths Quiz contest (photos)

Some students and teachers of the Edinaman Senior High School have been involved in an accident while returning to Elmina after participating in National Science and Maths Quiz.

The school had been eliminated from the second round of the competition which was held at the University of Ghana.

Having failed to progress to the quarterfinals stage, the students and teachers were travelling back to their base in the Central region.

On their way back to Elmina, the bus conveying the team got involved in an accident.

Luckily, there were no casualties as the students in the bus sustained only minor injuries.

The school's official Twitter account announced the accident on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, with pictures from the scene

"We were involved in an accident on our way back to Paul Isert Hill after our failure to progress to the quarter finals of the @NSMQGhana but glory be to Elohim for his protections always as every member is okay now," the school wrote.
