Exceptionally talented young artist wows with realistic portraits

- Kleinbooi "Watts" Mogale is one talented South African artist who is set to do great things

- The talented young man creates hyper-realistic portraits and said he loves to capture people on paper

At the age of 28, Kleinbooi Mogale aka "Watts" is an exceptional talented artist who creates realistic portraits of normal and famous people.

Speaking to YEN.com.gh, Mogale spilled the tea on his upbringing, inspirations and dreams.

Kleinbooi Mogale grew up in Makanye, in Polokwane, South Africa.

"I started drawing when I was eight years old," he explained, adding that the beauty of South African people and nature inspired him to draw.

Mogale looks up to Italian artist Marcello Barenghi and said he would often watch his YouTube videos to perfect his technique.

Every artist has his or her own reasons for creating art - some hope to capture moments while others express emotion on canvas. However, for Mogale, making people happy motivates him.

"Amusing people is the best. I love it when I get to put a smile on someone's face. Seeing people happy makes me happier," he explained.

Although he is extremely talented and his works of art have already caught people's eyes on social media, Mogale is only getting started. ''My dream is to see myself having a self-owned gallery or studio," he said.

Mogale is working hard to realise his dream and he is encouraging other young Africans to do the same. "Young Africans need to step out of their comfort zones and start marketing their talents or any skills they are good at, so they can achieve their dreams."

Meanwhile, the names of exceptionally brilliant Ghanaians who have been awarded full scholarships in 2019 to world class universities in the United States have been released following their unmatched top SAT scores.

Among the list are notable performing senior high schools in Ghana including Wesley Girls High School, Prempeh College, Tamele Senior High school, Opoku Ware High School and others.
