Kasoa police killer, Eric Kojo Duah, arrested

- Eric Kojo Duah, the man said to have pulled the trigger that killed two Kasoa police officers has been arrested

- Duah was arrested on the dawn of Saturday, August 31, 209

- The suspect was travelling in an Aflao bound car

Eric Kojo Duah, the main suspect in the killing of two police officers at Gomoa Buduburam near Kasoa in the Central Region has been arrested, YEN.com.gh has learnt.

Information gathered by YEN.com.gh, the alleged cop killer was busted while trying to flee the country to Togo.

According to a report YEN.com.gh sighted on Dailyguidenetwork.com, Duah was arrested around 2:00 am on Saturday, August 31, 2019, aboard an Aflao bound vehicle.

The suspect's arrest, the report added, followed a tip-off which had police authorities detailing officers to check vehicles on the Atimpoku bridge.

During their checks and based on the information on the suspect's movement, the police officers found him on a Golf vehicle with registration no. GW 5972 – 18.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Sergeant Michael Gyamasi and Lance Corporal Awal Mohammed were shot dead while on attachment duties on the Kasoa-Winneba highway.

They were shot when they tried to intercept an unregistered Blue/black Toyota Camry in which Duah and others were travelling.

Earlier, three other suspects — Ibrahim Zakaria, Isaac Amissah and Dominic Commey were arrested as Duah's accomplices.
