A graduate of the medical school of the University for Development Studies (UDS), Jimanatu Gomda, has received five awards.

At the university’s 20th graduation held in Tamale in the Northern region, she picked up the Vice-Chancellor’s prize for the best student in MBChB, the Registrar's prize for the best student in MBChB and the Dean’s prize for the best overall graduating medical student.
Gomda was also awarded the Dr. Sory’s prize for the best all-round graduating medical student and Ghana Medical Association’s prize for the best overall graduating medical student.
According to a report by dailyguidenetwork.com, a total number of 4,735 people graduated in various disciplines.
In other news, a couple has become an internet sensation after they were seen riding on a motorbike following their wedding.
Information available suggests that the wedding took place in Bonny Island, Rivers Estate, and the man rode the motorbike home after the ceremony, with his wife as a passenger.
A social media user who reportedly shared the photos indicated that the couple sought to minimize expenses and therefore settled for simplicity.
The woman appeared excited to be riding with her husband to their matrimonial home.
