An 'unbelievable' set of 9-year-old twins from Florida have surfaced online. She'riq and Te'riq Elliott were born as twins but with different skin tones.

This has occurred because the girl, She'riq, was born with albinism. Dailymail.co.uk reports that She'riq and Te'riq, together with their families, come from Pembroke Pines in Florida.

Reports indicate that this counts as the second time albinism has occurred in their family. An older sibling of the twins who is called Sheterria was born with the same skin condition.

Sheterria, who is currently 20 years of age, serves as a role model and mentor to her younger sister with the same condition.

It is reported that Sheterria has suffered in the hands of bullies and mockers as she was growing up. Now, she schools She'riq on how to deal with those situations both in and out of school.

In spite of their differences, the twins are really close to each other. In an interview, the set of twins described their relationship.

Te'riq described how he has always been supportive of her sister and explaining to people the reason they are so dissimilar. She'riq, on the other hand, said:

"People sometimes don't believe we are twins,'"She'riq said. "We're totally different. He's funnier than me and I'm just kind of calm."

Statistics show that one in 18,000 to 20,000 people in the United States is born with albinism. The condition results in pale skin which is sensitive to the sun and sometimes comes with eyesight issues.

There have been some other interesting stories about Blacks lately. YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ashley Roxanne Peterson, 24, has become the first-ever Black person in all of history to become an Osteopathic doctor at her age.

Her journey to becoming a doctor started at her young age when she caught the character of serving others from her parents.
