David Dontoh gets Govt appointment; becomes chairman of National Film Authority

Legendary Ghanaian actor, David Dontoh has been appointed as the Chairman for the National Film Authority (NFA)

According to a memo from the Office of the President, President Nana Akufo-Addo constituted a 14 member committee to form National Film Authority.

David Dontoh will head the 14-member team which is made up of Juliet Asante, Dr. Samuel Anyetei Nai and Mr. Samuel Fiscian among others.

The formation of the authority is a dream come true for industry players who have been fighting for its formation for several years now.

Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng Gyasi at a Press Meeting at the Information Ministry said the Board would be inaugurated on Friday, December 20, 2019.

This National Film Authority, with the aid of the film act, will serve as a regulatory body as far as Film making is concerned and provide the legal framework for the production, regulation, nurturing and development of the Ghanaian film industry, and for the distribution, exhibition and marketing of films and related matters.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Roselyn Ngissah has been sighted singing Emelia Brobbey's famous 'Fame Kɔ' song.

Since its release, several celebrities have been supporting Emelia Brobbey to promote the 'Fame Kɔ' song.

Roselyn Ngissah was seen in the video singing the 'Fame Kɔ' song romantically Kalybos as he felt pampered.

Kalybos was also seen with a Rose flower trying to sing along while enjoying the smooching from Roselyn Ngissah. Roselyn Ngissah after sharing the video captioned it saying "Fa me ko...."
