Our Manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in
A Texas-born woman was once dared to not cut her nails until they grew to three inches. Ayana Williams took the challenge to the next level and decided to not cut them for the next 23 years.
As a result of her commitment to the cause, Williams won the Guinness World Record for having the longest nails. It's proving a tough task to dethrone Williams as YEN.com.gh understands that she's retained her crown once again.
She recently admitted to Guinness that it takes her much longer to complete routine tasks and pulling up her pants is a chore on their own.
Williams is a nail technician by trade and uses a special acrylic to strengthen them. News of her accomplishment was shared via Twitter recently and her photos went viral.
Lucky Mzamani Ngobeni (@lucky_mzamani) asked,
"How does she wipe her behind after responding a nature's call?..i'll listen on the radio."
Pree_Me (@adriantphiri) shared an interesting theory:
"All I know is that for her to pull this off she has $$$$$ for days."
Emma ik Umeh (@emmaikumeh) asked the question on everyone's lips:
"God knows that this woman will be so dirty, I wonder how she will clean herself after using the toilet."
In other news, AfroChella happened in grand style drawing the attention of the Guinness World Records to its massive jollof cooking.
A news report indicates that the jollof that got the attention of the world-renowned organization was prepared by Tasty Tom, a popular food brand in Ghana.
The massive jollof was cooked by a team of experts in a large pot. Reports indicate that jollof has never 'happened' on such a massive scale.
