Our Manifesto: This is what YEN.com.gh believes in
With his own unique sense of humour, Ghanaian comic actor, content creator and impersonator, Joe Felix Okroku, has been tickling his hands at creative ideas by recreating the luxury outfits of Ghanaian celebrities.
His bizarre creations are undoubtedly a reductionist remake of complex and high fashion celebrity looks.
The native of Ho in the Volta region has reproduced the gorgeous outfits of celebrities such as Efya Nokturnal, Sista Afia, Nikki Samonas, Akuapem Poloo, Yaa Jackson, Fantana, among others.
Similar to other notable impersonators, Joe Felix Okroku uses cheap materials such as plastics, pieces of clothes and anything that enables him to remake the stunning looks of his selected characters.
The young Ghanaian creative has managed to attract the attention of some of his characters and his remake of highlife and afrobeats singer, Sista Afia, earned him a feature on her Instagram handle which garnered thousands of likes as at the time this story was being published.
Okroku has splashed his social media handle with impersonations of many Ghanaian female celebrities but his funny creations are yet to gain national attention and perhaps cross borders like Funny Toheeb.
YEN.com.gh features some of Okroku's bizarre recreations of Ghanaian celebrity looks.
