Kotoko teen footballing star, Mathew Cudjoe, has personally donated 50 percent of his GHC2,000 winning bonus following Kotoko's 1-2 win against Accra Hearts of Oak to an injured fan.

Mathew Anim Cudjoe, 16, gave out GHC1,000 of his GHC2,000 winning bonus to Augustine Oppong, a Kotoko fan who was shot in the eye with a rubber bullet during a league game against Berekum Chelsea to enable him fund his recovery.

The playing body of Asante Kotoko was given GHC2, 000 each for their 1-2 win over Accra Hearts of Oak at Sunday’s match.

Manager of the teenage midfielder, Samuel Anim Addo, said in an interview with Pulse Gh that Cudjoe will be donating his earnings from playing to society because he does not need money.

The 16-year-old player dominated the news following Asante Kotoko’s 1-2 win against Accra Hearts of Oak.

Anim Cudjoe made an appearance as he thrilled fans during the President’s Cup December 2019 and managed to engineer a win for the Porcupine Warriors when he scored the opener against Ebusua Dwarfs last two weeks in January 2020.
