January 2020 has been a rather interesting month and a good way to start the new year for many reasons. Although there have been several negative reports, there have also been some amazing positive reports.

Notable among the positives are a number of everyday Ghanaians who stirred social media with their breathtaking stories and achievements in just the first month of the year.

YEN.com.gh takes a look at the top 5 normal Ghanaians who stirred the internet massively, almost breaking it.

1. FA Square, the Accra Academy rapper

FA Square, a young student rapper from Accra Academy stirred social media with unbelievable rap lines. His punchlines were so deep, Wyclef Jean, the owner of Carnival World Music spotted one of FA Square's videos and called him up for a signing.

2. The 2 local drummers

Two young boys from Ghana were captured in a viral video making amazing beats with empty cans. In a viral video, a crowd of witnesses gathered to watch as the magical hands of the boys created pleasing rhythms in their ears.

3. The policeman who 'resurrected' a poor dying man

A kind policeman whose name has not been disclosed saved the life of poor man who was dying of hunger on the Spintex Road in Accra.

People who stood by before the police arrived at the scene reportedly thought he was actually dead. The man looked extremely relieved and revived in the video as his saviour came to his aid.

4. Plantain seller who was reportedly a KNUST graduate

A social media user identified as Agbalenyo Nelson recounted the struggles of a Ghanaian roasted plantain seller after he successfully graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Agbalenyo Nelson disclosed in a post on social media that the married father of four kids struggled with unemployment after several submitted application letters yielded no results.

5. Kotoko wonderboy

Asante Kotoko midfielder, 16-year-old Matthew Cudjoe was in the news for his breathtaking contribution in helping Kotoko win over Hearts of Oak. Later, he donated 50% of his winning bonus to injured fan Augustine Oppong.

In other news, a team of seven talented kids of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana has built a breathtaking version of the aeroplane car that was recently launched by the Kantanka group.

The young children who are all under the age of 12 gave a live demonstration on KTV’s popular TV program, ‘Kantanka Exclusive' of how the aero-car can be controlled with a software.

Nana Kwame Opoku who is 12 years of age was the spokesperson for the group and he explained with great eloquence that the reason they decided to embark on the mini-project was to prove to the outside world that Africans are also capable of creating great things.
