Dr Otuo Agyemang: UCC senior lecturer at the School of Business dies

Dr. Otuo Serebour Agyemang, a senior lecturer at the Department of Finance at the School of Business, University of Cape Coast, has sadly died.
Affectionately called OTUO, he held a BA and MSc in Economics and also received a Ph.D. in Business and Management from the University of Ferrara in Italy.
While at UCC, OTUO taught Business Economics, Managerial Economics, Corporate Governance, Ethics, and International Finance.
Originally a member of the Casely- Hayford hall, Dr. Otuo actively participated in Jama sessions of the hall during the hall weeks and hall programs.

Dr Otuo reportedly fainted at his home on campus and was rushed to the hospital. His condition was said to have stabilized during the week after a few surgical procedures but later worsened and he died as a result.
The young lecturer’s death has left some students in a complete state of shock and many are still at the stage of disbelief.
Some students took to their social media handles to express their pained condolences to the dead lecturer.
Reports indicate that a memorial service will be held on UCC campus on Friday, February 28, 2020, and the final funeral rite will be performed on Saturday, February 29, 2020, in his hometown in the Ashanti region, Owhin off Barekesse Road.
YEN.com.gh previously reported that the midfielder of Sea Lions FC, Berekisu Tejani has been confirmed dead at the age of 20.
The National Women's League side Sea Lions Ladies FC announced the death of the midfielder on their social media page.
Berekisu Tejani reportedly died on Friday, January 3, 2020, after battling with an illness. The Ghanaian female footballing talent was a first-year student at the University of Cape Coast.
