President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has revealed that since he took over the reins of government in 2017, he has fulfilled the majority of his pledges.

This according to him, should warrant him another term in office.

President Akufo Addo said his administration, over the last three years, has improved considering the circumstances of the country’s economic, energy, health, educational and agricultural sectors.

He made this known while speaking to members of the Ghanaian community as part of his official state visit to Oslo, Norway, Sunday, February 23, 2020.

Akufo-Addo indicated that these achievements are the pivot around which he would seek a renewed mandate to lead Ghana.

Touching on the Banking sector, the president said the Central Bank of Ghana has had to undertake some painful reforms of the financial system which in turn helped the economic environment.

The banking sector cleanup and several other interventions of government, President Akufo Addo said, are signs that the fundamental framework that needed to move the country ahead rapidly is now firmly in place.
