Ghanaian international model turned pastor, Pearl Amoah, has delivered a strong-worded message to President Akufo-Addo as the country seeks the face of God amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The president set aside today, [Wednesday], March 25, 2020, for all leaders of religious institutions to lead Ghanaians in fasting and prayers as the nation seeks God's intervention in the fight against the dreaded disease.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the Ghanaians are on a day of fasting and prayers to invoke supernatural reinforcement and assistance against coronavirus which has claimed thousands of lives.
It is on the back of the call for prayers that Lady Rev. Pearl Amoah, winner of Miss Universe Ghana 1996, Miss Northern Region 1994 and Mrs. Ghana International 2015, now a pastor, has delivered a prophecy from God to the president.
Rev. Pearl Amoah rebuked Nana Akufo-Addo while quizzing whether the president and his ministers have shunned the evil they have done to this country.
''I have a message and this message goes to the president, say the great I am. You are about to fast, pray and seek God’s intervention on your country and the world,'' she said.
''Have you decided to put aside the little gods, have you finish drinking the blood of the innocent people? Have you finished, you and your team says the Holy Spirit. Are you done with the evil you have done to this nation? The corruption!,'' she quizzed.
Rev. Pearl Amoah also had a message for Ghanaans and the false prophets in the video that is widely being circulated.
Meanwhile, Ghana has recorded a sharp rise of 27 to 68 coronavirus cases as of March 25, 2020, and has already claimed two lives.
President Akufo-Addo urged all religious bodies across the country and Ghanaians in general to embark on a day of fasting today to seek divine intervention in the affairs of the nation regarding coronavirus.
YEN.com.gh reported that as governments look for solutions to the coronavirus pandemic, Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett, a doctor, is leading efforts to develop a vaccine for the coronavirus.
Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett, a viral immunologist by training with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), began her research in January 2020 when researchers first gathered knowledge of the novel COVID-19 that was similar to pneumonia.
