Sonnie Badu replies Bill Gates' wife over "dead bodies in Africa" coronavirus comment

- Singer Sonnie Badu has differed in an opinion expressed by Melinda Gates, wife of Bill Gates

- According to the American, the Coronavirus case count in Africa would rise so high and people would lose their lives

- She made these comments while speaking in an interview with CNN

Multiple award-winning gospel act, Sonnie Badu, has reacted to some comments about coronavirus related to Africa which were passed by Melinda Gates, wife of one of the world's richest men, Bill Gates.

Sonnie Badu took to his Instagram handle to react to comments passed by Mrs. Gates claiming hat developing countries like Africa would be the worst hit by the global COVID-19 pandemic.

But the founder of The Rock Hill Church begged to differ relating to Mrs Gates' comments as he took to his page to share his view.

He wrote: "You are not God ... You are only human, Just like us. Do not over step your boundaries, don’t worry your time will be up soon ... Africa will surprise the world, that is why for the first time we are ahead of you all ... Madam, keep quite ... my name is BADU"

The Let It Rain singer, in his comments, was sure that Mrs Gates did not know her figures about the global infection rate of the coronavirus. This is because, America, Mrs Gates' home country, was leading the world in terms of the number of infected persons.

It is also a fact that America has surpassed the whole world in relation to the number of mortalities owing to the growing threat posed by the coronavirus.

Sonnie Badu asked Mrs Gates to keep quiet and not meddle in the affairs of Africa because to him, he was sure, "Africa will surprise the world" regarding this pandemic.

Some fans of the renowned singer could not agree more with him as they took to the comment section to throw their weight behind the African continent.

Ghanaian musician, Akesse Brempong, was of the view that the West would run to Africa for help on this matter.

kessethelion @sonniebaduuk General, the west will run to Africa's God after this pandemic. I guarantee you. Ahimaz may outrun Cushie but Cushie carries the word for the King. Its time for Cushie to run again!!!!", he wrote.

Another fan of the singer, missyyemi added: "Who is he that speaks,and come to pass when the Lord has not commanded."

Sonnie Badu's comment comes on the back of comments made by Mrs Melinda Gates about the rate of the coronavirus in Africa.

She claimed that developing countries including those in Africa would be badly hit by the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

In a video interview on popular American news channel CNN, she opined that the African continent was set to suffer great consequences if the pandemic reached its peak there in similar ways that have hit the likes of developed countries like America, China, Italy and Spain.

The billionaire’s wife warned Africans about the crisis facing the global crisis.

“COVID-19 will be horrible in the developing world,” she said.
