Rufftown Records to terminate Fantana's contract today

The management of Rufftown Records has decided to terminate the contract of the young singer, Fantana, for disrespecting the label.
The firm has issued a press statement requesting a contract termination with Fantana.
In the press statement seen by YEN.com.gh, Rufftown made it clear that Fantana's contract will be terminated over her recent social media posts attacking the label and her mate, Wendy Shay.

According to the statement, the meeting for the termination of the contract will come off on Monday, May 18, 2020.
Per the press statement, the venue for the much-anticipated meeting will be in East Legon and the time is 1 pm.
The statement was issued on Sunday, May 17, 2020, and signed by CEO of Rufftwon Records, Ricky Nana Agyeman, popularly known as Bullet.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported a story of Fantana exposing Wendy Shay and Bullet in the videos she released on Instagram.
In the videos seen by YEN.com.gh, Fantana indicated that the management of Rufftown Records forced her to lie on live radio.
She said when she relocated to Ghana from the USA, she was advised to tell a lie on Zylofon FM on how she met Bullet.

According to Fantana what she said on Zyolofon FM that Wendy Shay was the person who introduced her to Bullet was a total lie.
The beautiful singer stressed that she knew Bullet since 2017 and was made to put up that lie in order to favour Wendy Shay.
Before releasing the aforementioned videos, Wendy Shay had already shaded Fantana for disrespecting her.
This follows Fantana's recent description of Wendy Shay as a local champion during an interview on GH One TV.
It will be recalled that Fantana while making a point about female artistes in Ghana, chose Efya, Becca, and Wiyaala as the most prestigious female music stars with international recognition and tagged her label mate Wendy Shay as a high local champion.
