Shatta Wale to feature international acts on his upcoming album

Ghanaian Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale has stated that his upcoming album will have several international collaborations on it.

In an interview on Hitz FM and monitored by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale who is usually referred to as a 'local champion', said the album is going to be an international album with several international collaborations.

The 'Melissa' hitmaker added that it is time for him to go out into the world and make more strides because he has already solidified his grounds in Ghana.

Shatta Wale said he is working to record songs with international acts like Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, Vybz Kartel and Cardi B among others for his upcoming album.

"There is an adage that goes like ‘dance a yard’ before ‘you dance abroad’. That’s what I go by so I wanted my community to love me and feel me for my career and talent. And I think this is the best time for me to go out there because I’m talking to a whole lot of celebrities out there; talk about Meek Mill, Nicki Minaj, Vybz, Cardi B, and other people…

I have people I am linking to get me those steps and its basically one of those things. It’s going to be an international album. In Ghana I will feature a couple, surprise acts that people might not think I will feature them," he noted.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the Ghanaian dancehall sensation had showered praises on actress and TV personality Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo despite their ongoing beef.

Shatta Wale and Efia Odo have been beefing on social media for some time now and it appears Shatta Wale has had enough of it.

In an interview on UTV and monitored by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale told Nana Ama McBrown, that Efia Odo is so real.
