Maverick Assin Central MP and owner of Net2 TV, Ken Agyapong, has reportedly rejected a whopping GHC60,000 birthday gift from his workers.

The outspoken Ghanaian MP marked his 60th birthday on June 16, 2020, amid best wishes and admirable gifts from friends and loved ones.

Among the gifts he received as birthday present was reportedly a GHC60,000 cash amount from his generous workers.

However, Ken Agyapong left many surprised when he declined the money from his employees.

The Assin Central MP refused to accept the cash birthday gift which was meant to celebrate him on his 60th birthday.

Ken Agyapong, who is known for his generous philanthropic gestures, reportedly distributed the GHC60,000 cash among his employees.

The outspoken lawmaker was born in Assin Dompim in the Central Region of Ghana on June 16, 1960.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Kennedy Agyapong has proven to be one of the richest politicians in Ghana currently.

He is also a businessman of high repute in Ghana and a card bearing member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
