YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of some final year students at Sekondi College in the Western region abusing President Akufo-Addo because they faced difficulties in their examination.
In the video shared by Kwesi Aduamoah, the group of boys is seen and heard raining insults on the first gentleman of the land because they could not write the examinations they sat for.
YEN.com.gh's check revealed the students are from Sekondi College in the Sekondi-Takoradi Municipal Assembly in the Western Region.
One of them is heard saying the president should award them with marks they clearly did not work for.
Another is also heard reminding the president about the fact that he is also in his final year and looking forward to people to push him forward.
Their actions as students and the fact that they are being abusive towards the very man that made it possible for them to attend senior high school free of charge has been greatly frowned upon by Ghanaians.
Josephine Dodzi Kpodo-Atiawu said it is absolutely unacceptable:
This is absolutely unacceptable and must be discouraged. How on earth should these little boys be heard with these kind of insults on no other person but someone old enough be your father/ grandfather? How?
Elorm Harry Dumasi believes the boys do not know the repercussions of their words:
He doesn't know the repercussions of those words. Very uncalled for.
Jemima Mercy Awuku said their display of ungratefulness after being able to attend school for free was totally unacceptable:
This is so unacceptable. You have gone through SS education without paying fees, and this is the ingratitude you display? Did they think SHS was that easy without studying for exams.
Grace Onpoint believes there is no excuse for a child to do this:
There is no excuse for a child to do this...absolutely no excuse bro. He needs to be taught a lesson. This is disgusting.
Osman Ushau recalled that former president Mahama said the kids were not ready for the exams:
I quite remember former prez Mahama said the kids were not ready for the exams come and see backlashing now see how this kids crying.
Emmanuel Abdoni said it was unacceptable:
This is totally unacceptable but our leaders must also to be blamed. Monitor the airwaves and listen to the kind of words our leaders are churning out these days.
In other news, a young senior high school girl dancing to Stonebwoy's trending Putuu song with all her energy went a bit too far and ended up on the floor in the hilarious footage.
The rib-cracking video that gathered numerous reactions was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official Facebook handle of TV3 Ghana.
The young girl is in the classroom when the song starts playing in the background and she decides to join the social media trend with a dance video before things fall apart.
