Vice President, Mahamudu Bawumia, has taken a dig at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, again.
Bawumia has questioned whether the former president has been in office before.
According to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) politician, the NDC leader did nothing for the youth of Ghana during the eight years he has been in office as Vice President under the late, Atta Mills, and as President later on.

“What the youth of this country should ask is, what did John Mahama do for the youth in eight (8) years of government,” Bawumia said.
Addressing the NPP youth wing in Accra on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, Bawumia said Mahama mismanaged Ghana’s economy and did nothing for them. He also blamed Mahama for the hardship the youth are currently experiencing.
Bawumia opined that Mahama is going round making promises as if he is a new person.
“Promises are one thing but deeds and actions are another. Actions speak louder than words and John Mahama’s record of incompetence has already spoken loudly,” Bawumia stated. He assured the youth of the country that President Akufo-Addo will continue to address the plight of the youth like he has done in the last three and a half years.
The Vice President also listed several youth-centered initiatives, such as job creation through One District, One Factory, the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan, and the President’s Business Support Programme.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has taken on President Nana Akufo-Addo for the manner in which Ghana’s democracy is growing.
According to the former president, Akufo-Addo’s tenure has ensured the country’s democracy is retrogressing instead of progressing as it should be.
In the latest Facebook post, the NDC leader opined that the Akufo-Addo administration is involved in the oppression of the legislature and compromised state institutions with politics.
