Retain me in power for the next 4 years to protect Ghana’s prosperity – Akufo-Addo

- Akufo-Addo has called on the good people of Ghana to retain his government in power for another four-years

- This he said him would protect the prosperity of the country due to government's desire to build and consolidate the gains made so far

- He however, stated that no other government aside his, can sustain and advance the transformation of the country

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on the good people of Ghana to retain his government in power for another four-years.

According to him, that would help him protect the prosperity of the country due to government's desire to build and consolidate the gains his administration made since he was sworn into office.

He made this known during in an interview with Takoradi-based FM station, Skyy Power FM.

“We [are] going to protect our prosperity, and the process of the socio and economic transformation of the country is going to continue. That is the program for the future,” Akufo-Addo said.

According to the president, his government over the last three and half years has laid a strong foundation to propel future development of the country and that there is no other government than his government to sustain and advance the transformation of the country.

The President is on a four-day working visit in the Western and Central Regions of the country.

In other news, in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh the president was welcomed to the Takoradi Market Circle by a mammoth crowd who were obviously excited to see him.

Even though the COVID-19 pandemic was still rife some persons decided to throw caution to the wind, by not adhering to social distancing as well as wearing thier nose masks.

The excitement the president was met with at the Takoradi shows how welcomed and loved he was by the people of the Oil city.
