Ghana's highest all-time goal scorer, Asamoah Gyan, was captured in an adorable video with President Nana Akufo-Addo, as the two exchanged football passes.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the official YouTube channel of UpFront TV, the skilful exchange between the two respected personalities in Ghana was greeted with deafening applause from all who had gathered.

The footage was taken on September 4, 2020, when the President of the Republic of Ghana, together with Asamoah Gyan and other members in the sporting fraternity, unveiled a new AstroTurf at the University of Professional Studies, Accra.

The facility was constructed at the cost of nearly 4 million Ghana Cedis from the university’s Internally Generated Funds.

According to Citisportsonline.com, the facility comes with a FIFA standard pitch, 5,000 seating capacity, floodlights, changing rooms, and offices for the school’s sports directorate.

Akufo-Addo said the project formed part of the government’s efforts to improve sports infrastructure across the country.

In another exciting report, George Ameyaw, a student of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), who supported himself through school with his aboboya/okada business has graduated as the best student.

In an interview with YEN.com.gh, the gentleman confirmed that he had a GPA of 3.96, which was the highest in the Faculty of Science and Environment Education.

George studied BSc Integrated Science Education from UEW-Mampong campus in the College of Agriculture Education at the respected university.
