Akufo-Addo gives GHc 25k offering during visit to seek blessings at Resurrection Power Church

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Sunday, October 25, 2020, started a tour of the Greater Accra Region to get his message across to Ghanaians in the nation's capital.
As part of his tour, the president visited the Resurrection Power New Generation Church on the Kasoa road to worship with them.

At the church service, the president reminisced how exactly four years ago, he humbly approached the church to worship with them and seek the face of God during their worship.
According to Akufo-Addo, his visit to the church four years ago did him a lot of good as their prayers as a whole helped him win the 2016 elections.
He added that since he it was proper to take along offering when one visits a church, he also did same.
President Akufo-Addo addressing the congregation, announced that he would give an amount of GHc 25,000 to the church as his offering.
He therefore appealed to them to remember him in prayers like the church did for him in the 2016 general election which made him president.
He also promised that he would do as he has stated in his manifesto by delivering on all of his campaign promises like the free SHS and the other promises.
In other news, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has cut the sod for the construction of some very important health facilities in the country.
He cut the sod for the construction of a forty (40) bed Municipal Hospital at Kpone as well as a 400-bed Regional hospital Tema in the Greater Accra Region during his four-day tour of the Greater Accra Region which started Sunday, October 25, 2020.
According to President Akufo-Addo, the sod-cutting ceremony represents another important milestone in Government’s commitment to guaranteeing access to healthcare for all Ghanaians, through improving existing healthcare facilities, and constructing new ones in places where none exist in the country.
