Leader of The Lord's Parliament Chapel International, Prophet Francis Amoako-Atta, has reprimanded President Akufo-Addo over his wardrobe choice on January 7.

The preacher chastised the advisors of the president for making him wear a black suit to his swearing-in ceremony.

While speaking in an interview with Angel FM, Prophet Francis Amoako-Atta said Akufo-Addo should have worn a white or gold-themed apparel.

He revealed that by deciding to go with a suit, the president was spiritually ceding his rulership to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) because most NDC MPs were clad in white outfits on the day.

Prophet Amoako-Atta added that in the spiritual realm, the colours for the kingship were represented by white or gold therefore the president erred in his choice of attire.

The preacher went ahead to even attribute the NPP’s defeat in the Speaker of Parliament elections to the president’s decision to wear a suit.

Prophet Amoako-Atta said a better apparel would have been either Kente or an all-white outfit.

“Who asked the president to wear a suit for his inauguration? Even the NDC wore white and the President wore a suit; is he Donald Trump? So they will vote against you and you wouldn’t know who did it. In the kingdom mandate, the year of the Ox, anything concerning mandate is supposed to be a white dress”.

He also advised President Akufo-Addo to surround himself with people who have his wellbeing and success at heart.

Moving on, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, has distributed laptops to some 40 teachers who were recently posted there.
