The Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, Hon. Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, has distributed laptops to some 40 teachers who were recently posted there.

In a number of photos shared on the page of the Member of Parliament, the teachers were seen personally receiving the laptops.

The beneficiaries, after receiving the laptop gits, posed in photos with the Member of Parliament at the short presentation ceremony.

After sharing the photos on his official Facebook page, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin captioned them:

"40 newly posted teachers in Effutu who were yet to receive laptops from Hon. Alexander Afenyo-Markin received theirs today."

The photos showed the beneficiaries beaming with smiles as they received their laptops and posed for pictures with them.

Many Ghanaians have reacted positively to the kind gesture as they took to the comment section to praise the legislator for his act of kindness.

In a similar act of kindness, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Deputy Education Minister and Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has paid full university fees for 30 freshers in his constituency.

The 30 new entrants into the tertiary level are all headed to University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) at Tarkwa to study various engineering courses.

Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum took to his Facebook page to make the huge announcement and shared some photos with the 30 benefactors.

In photos sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Facebook page of Richard Akoto Darko, the photos of the special tricycle were posted for the whole world to see.

The story that came with the photos had it that the creator of the vehicle was from Jasikan in the Oti region of Ghana.
