Arhin's wife filed for divorce at the Matrimonial Division of the High Court in Accra on February 10, 2021. Documents of the suit popped up the next day
As previously reported by YEN.com.gh, Mrs Arhin has accused President Nana Akufo-Addo's communications director of committing adultery during their marriage, desertion, physical abuse, among other things.
According to her, Eugene Arhin has been sleeping with many other women as he keeps extra-marital affairs, some of which were mentioned in the suit.
Apart from listing the extra-marital affairs of her husband, Mrs Arhin also revealed the number of properties Arhin owns across Accra.
But even though he admitted that there are challenges in the marriage, Arhin described the claims levelled against him by his wife as "baseless and untrue, especially with respect to properties and physical abuse."
He, however, stated that he is holding his peace and waiting to deal with the in Court of Law because he thus not want to engage in any public banter for the sake of his family.
Mrs Arhin is praying the court grant her a divorce, give her the East Legon house, 16 of the 32 apartments, two cars, 50% shares in other properties, GHC2m, and custody of their three children.
