Meghan Markle Not Accompanying Prince Harry to Prince Philip's Funeral

- Recent reports have revealed that Meghan Markle will not be attending Prince Philip's funeral

- Markle's absence from the late prince's funeral is due to the fact that she is heavily pregnant and has not received medical clearance from her doctor

- Prince Harry will however be making the 10-hour trip from his home in Santa Barbara in California to London for the funeral

Meghan Markle will reportedly not be attending Prince Philip's funeral that is taking place on Saturday 17th April this year. Meghan, who is heavily pregnant, was advised against travelling by her doctor.

Since the trip is a whole 10 hours from Meghan and Harry's home in Santa Barbara, California, to London where the funeral will be held, it's understandable that her doctor would have some concerns.

Prince Harry, however, will be making the trip while his pregnant wife stays home, royal reporter Omid Scoobie recently wrote in a statement tweet on behalf of the royal family.
